Lady Deathwhisper - The Adds

This fight hinges on proper control of the creatures Deathwhisper summonsOn 10 man, she will summon three adds every sixty seconds, and in 25 man, she will summon sevenThese adds come in two types, but can also be transformed or raised from the dead, enhancing their capabilities.



Initially, it is advisable to have all of the ranged DPS on the boss in an attempt to bring down her shield as quickly as possibleOnce the shield is down and Phase Two begins, the fight turns into a very simple "tank and spank" encounter as the adds will stop spawning.

On 10 man, the first wave of adds will always appear on the left side of the room when facing the boss, and it is best to use two tanksOn 25 man, three adds will appear on each side of the room and one will appear at the top of the stairsA minimum of three tanks will be required.

Adds come in two varieties - Fanatics and AdherentsFanatics do melee damage, and Adherents do magical damageBoth types of can be "empowered" by the boss, giving them extra abilities and enabling them to do more damage, and both can martyr themselves and then be reborn as "reanimated" versions, becoming almost immune to one type of damage.

The Fanatics have a cleave ability which will hit multiple targets and cause significant damage, so all DPS on the fanatics will want to stand behind themIf the boss empowers the Fanatics, they become "deformed", gaining a 100% bonus to their attack and healing themselves for 3% of damage dealtThey also receive a 50% movement penalty, so it is best to simply kite them around until deadIf a Fanatic is "reanimated", they come back as a skeleton which is 99% immune to melee damage.
